Aerial Grid Announces the Establishment of Its Indian Subsidiary to Advance Swiss–Indian Innovation

Strategic expansion underscores the role of the Switzerland–India Free Trade Agreement (FTA) as a catalyst for cross-border collaboration.
Aerial Grid announced the official creation of its Indian subsidiary, marking a significant milestone in the company's international expansion strategy. This new entity reflects Aerial Grid's commitment to fostering global innovation in airspace security and to strengthening bilateral cooperation between Switzerland and India.
The move comes shortly after the signing of the Switzerland–India Free Trade Agreement (FTA), a framework designed to deepen economic ties and accelerate technological collaboration between the two nations. “India presents a massive opportunity for Aerial Grid in terms of expansion,” said Dr. Piyush Harsh, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Aerial Grid.
The Indian subsidiary will focus on developing partnerships with local stakeholders, supporting compliance with evolving regulations, and deploying Aerial Grid's portfolio of products — including SkyGuard, SkyRadar, SkyTag, and SkyGrid — to meet the needs of large-scale drone operations, urban airspace management, and infrastructure protection.
“This subsidiary, AerialGrid Private Limited, is a perfect instrument for us to capitalise on the Indo-Swiss FTA to bring advanced deep-tech aerial surveillance technology to the Indian market,” added Dr. Piyush Harsh.
With this step, Aerial Grid continues to build on its mission of delivering secure, intelligent, and globally connected airspace solutions — combining Swiss precision with India's dynamic innovation landscape.
